About VetJustice.ai

Built by a 100% service-disabled Veteran with over 50 years of experience with military and VA healthcare systems to give VA-accredited representatives an unfair advantage for the Veterans they serve — so a claim's outcome never depends on how much a Veteran can spend.

Our Mission

Millions of Veterans are under-rated, denied, or simply do not know what benefits they are entitled to. The VA disability system is complex by design — rating decisions run to dozens of pages, the VASRD code book spans thousands of entries, and the nexus standard ("at least as likely as not") requires medical-legal knowledge that takes a representative years to master.

Veterans who can afford a privately-commissioned Independent Medical Opinion — $1,500 or more per condition — win at significantly higher rates than those who cannot. That gap is what VetJustice.ai was built to close.

VetJustice.ai is a tool for VA-accredited representatives — VSO officers, claims agents, and veterans' attorneys. It puts an AI medical-specialist panel, nexus-letter drafts, DBQ checklists, C&P exam prep, and a complete 526EZ-ready claim package in their hands, so every Veteran they represent gets the caliber of evidence preparation that used to be reserved for those who could pay out of pocket. Every output is reviewed, finalized, and filed by the accredited representative.

How the AI Works

🔬
36 AI Medical Specialists
Each specialist is focused on a specific domain — orthopedics, neurology, psychiatry, pulmonology, cardiology, and more. Only the specialists relevant to the veteran's conditions run, keeping analysis fast and precise.
📚
Medical Literature Grounding
Every nexus opinion and secondary condition finding is supported by citations to peer-reviewed studies, VA/DoD Clinical Practice Guidelines, and epidemiological research. The AI does not speculate — it cites.
⚖️
Legal Framework Applied
Findings are mapped to the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (38 CFR Part 4), applicable regulations (§ 3.102, § 3.303, § 3.310), and key BVA and Federal Circuit precedents. The system speaks the VA's language.
👁️
Always Reviewable
Nothing is submitted to the VA automatically. Every finding, every nexus letter, and every legal argument is presented for review first. The representative controls what goes into the veteran's claim package.
🧬
Secondary & Underlying Conditions
The AI looks beyond individual conditions to identify secondary conditions caused by the veteran's rated disabilities, and underlying conditions: one diagnosis, never rated, that may explain several rated conditions at once. That is often the most valuable finding.
📋
Signature-Ready Output
Nexus letter drafts are written for a qualified medical professional to review, complete, and sign: the veteran's own treating provider or an independent one. The AI drafts the medical literature review and nexus argument; the signer provides clinical findings, credentials and their signature.

🔒 Security & Privacy

Your medical information is sensitive. Here is exactly how we handle it — in plain language, not legal boilerplate.

✓
Your data stays yours: Your conditions, medical records, and profile are never sold, shared with the VA, shared with insurance companies, or disclosed to any third party. Period.
✓
Encrypted in transit: All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Your data is never sent over an unencrypted connection.
✓
Passwords are never readable: Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage. We never store your plain-text password and cannot recover it — only you know it.
✓
Session security: Authentication uses signed JWT tokens that expire after 7 days. Each login is tied to a single active session — logging in on a new device automatically invalidates the prior session.
✓
Infrastructure: All data is stored in AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate compute + encrypted PostgreSQL database) in the US-East-1 region. No data leaves U.S. soil.
✓
Uploaded files: PDF and document files you upload for AI extraction are processed in memory and are not permanently stored on our servers. The extracted records (dates, conditions, providers) are what get saved — not the raw file.
✓
Cryptographic proof of delivery: When you generate your final claim package, we compute a SHA-256 hash of your analysis and send you a delivery receipt. This gives you cryptographic proof of exactly what was delivered and when.
✓
No tracking or advertising: We do not run advertising. We do not use tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, or third-party ad networks. The only analytics we use are Plausible, a privacy-friendly service that counts visits to this public website without cookies or personal data, and server-side access logs for security and uptime monitoring.

⚠️ Important Limitations — Please Read

•VetJustice.ai is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this platform creates an attorney-client relationship.
•VetJustice.ai is not a medical practice and does not provide medical advice. AI-generated nexus letter drafts must be reviewed, completed, and signed by a qualified medical professional before submission to the VA.
•VetJustice.ai is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
•AI findings are analytical outputs — not VA rating decisions. Actual ratings are determined by VA adjudicators applying the VASRD and 38 CFR regulations.
•We strongly encourage all Veterans to work with an accredited VSO, VA-accredited attorney, or claims agent when filing or appealing claims. VetJustice.ai is a preparation tool, not a substitute for professional representation.
